Premiered on the battlefield at Gettysburg by the Penn Glee Club in 1962 and broadcast nationally to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Address on November 19, 1963. This work was also performed at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum in Springfield, Illinois, in November 2013, for the 150th anniversary celebration of the Gettysburg Address.
